Rick Miners is an entrepreneur, writer, speaker and expert on the flexible workforce and Third Party Employment. He has spoken to major corporations and institutions that are continually looking for ways to maintain a competitive edge in a global economy. He has published numerous articles regarding the changing dynamic of work and retirement and how it is affecting individuals and corporations.
Rick is the co-founder and former president of FlexCorp Systems, a third party employer and human resources outsourcing company focused on the contingency workforce. His company, FlexCorp Systems, was named by INC Magazine as one of the Fastest Growing privately held companies in the United States (# 119) in November, 2005. The company was sold in 2006.
He is the co-author of the books, DON'T RETIRE REWIRE! and ON TARGET, Enhance your Life and Ensure Your Success. He has appeared on radio and television including the Today Show, CNN, PBS, and is frequently quoted in the press on the changing face of retirement.
He is the former president of Goodrich and Sherwood, a multi-practice management consulting firm specializing in the human resources including recruitment, outplacement, and executive coaching. His corporate experience included sales and marketing positions with Avon Products, American Home Products, and Tetley, Inc. Prior to starting FlexCorp Systems, he was the managing partner of the executive search firm of Sedlar & Miners.
Rick is a graduate of Wake Forest University and served as a member of the Board of Advisors of the University's Calloway School of Business and Accountancy.
